A forbidden love
The series “Inés del alma mía” is based on the novel by Isabel Allende and narrates the life of Inés Suárez, a courageous young Spanish woman in the 16th century, whose role is fundamental in the conquest of Chile. She travels in search of her husband and upon arriving in America, discovers that he has been widowed and embarks on a forbidden relationship with a Spanish conqueror. The plot explores themes such as love, bravery and the struggle for survival in a challenging historical context.
Filmed in locations such as Cusco, Pisac and Arequipa, the series incorporates breathtaking landscapes and colonial architecture that bring authenticity and beauty to the narrative. Cusco, with its rich Inka history, and Arequipa are perfect examples that visually enrich the production.
