Wiñaypacha: The Peruvian film won three awards at the Guadalajara Film Festival.

It tells the story of an old couple who live abandoned in a remote part of the Peruvian Andes, 5,000 metres above sea level. They deal with sadness and the unstoppable passing of time, asking god for their only son to come and rescue them.
This is the debut feature of Oscar Catacora, which took the awards for Best Debut Feature and Best Photography in the Best Ibero-American Fiction Feature Film category. The film also received the FEISAL award (American Federation of Sound and Image Schools).
