Films “Voyager Colors of Peru” and “Generation with a cause” receive awards at the NY Film and TV Festival
The Peruvian films "Voyager Colors of Peru" and "Generation with a Cause" were recognized in the 2018 New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards, a competition dedicated to the Television and Film industries that gives awards for content in audiovisual formats, and in which productions from around 40 countries participated.
The World's Best TV & Films Awards took place on 10 April at the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas. The recipient of the awards was the Peruvian Economic and Commercial Advisor in Houston, Juan Luis Reus. "Voyager Colors of Peru" received an award in the Travel and Tourism category, while "Generation with a Cause" won in the Tourism category.
"Voyager Colors of Peru" is an audiovisual production for television that shows a different way to travel around Peru, enveloping visitors with the stimuli of its music and the charm of its people. "Generation with a Cause" is also an audiovisual work from the famous Generation with a Cause campaign launched by Promperú in 2017, which seeks to promote Peruvian cuisine through a group of young Peruvian chefs who share and promote a new philosophy.
The award categories reflect current global trends and encourage the next generation of storytellers and talents. The audiovisual formats in the competition include: Animation, Comedy, Corporate, Drama, Documentary, Feature Films, Trailers, Music Videos and News, among others.
The jury of this festival was made up of a respected panel of leading executives from the broadcasting industry, and who awarded trophies to content creators from all platforms and genres.
