Cusco will feature in the television series based on the work by the famous novelist Isabel Allende
A co-production by Boomerang TV Spain and Chile, with Radiotelevisión Española and Chilevisión
Wonderful scenes of Cusco, the imperial city of Peru, will be shown in the television series "Inés del Alma Mía", an adaptation of the novel of the same name, by the famous Chilean writer Isabel Allende.
The story, spanning eight episodes, recounts the life of Inés Suarez, a Spaniard who took part in the conquistador Pedro de Valdivia's expedition to Chile during the sixteenth and the founding of Santiago de Chile.
Boomerang TV Spain and Chile, together with Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) and Chilevisión, are in charge of this production, which will premiere next year.
The passage through Peru was coordinated with the local production company, APU Producciones S.A.C. As for the filming time, it is estimated that it will last 100 days, 5 days already having been filmed in Cusco.
The series will initially be broadcast through RTVE and Chilevisión, and will be premiered exclusively by Amazon Prime Video in Spain, the United States and Latin America.
Filming Location
This international production will contribute to the promotion of Peru as a filming location; it showcases one of the main Peruvian tourist locations for inbound tourism, as well as demonstrating the value of the country's high quality service exports.
