Transformers: Rise of the Beasts lives the millenary experience of Peru
Mystical power in ancestral lands! With an impressive display the movie Transformes: Rise of the Beasts was filmed, in Peruvian territory. Machu Picchu, as well as others destinations in Cusco and San Martin, were chosen for the shooting of this blockbuster production that will premiere in the middle of next year.
On this occasion, Paramount Pictures worked hand in hand with the Peruvian production company Apu Productions, during the shooting that took place in the last quarter of 2021. Therefore, Peru continues to grow as one of the preferred destinations for the development of important film productions, which seek impressive, mystical and unique locations.
Precisely, this spiritual connection that is achieved in places like the citadel of Machu Picchu, was highlighted by the director of the film, Steven Caple Jr., during his arrival in the country. "Filming Transformers: Rise of The Beasts in Machu Picchu is a great privilege," said the director.
Likewise, the arrival of Paramount Pictures to our country – a company that, by the way, uses the Peruvian mountain Artesonraju as a logo on its brand – is one of the many strategic achievements of Film In Peru, as well as the confidence in the capacity of national audiovisual talent, in a shooting never before seen in our country. For the realization of the film, there were more than 500 people including producers, actors, cameramen, sound staff, lights and personnel that provides related services that were part of this great production.
