For filming activities within the Machupicchu National Archaeological Park, entry
tickets to the Inca citadel must be purchased at least three months in advance
through the official Peruvian Government website: https://tuboleto.cultura.pe/llaqta_machupicchu. Please also take into account the

PROMPERÚ released an exclusive promotional video for the Chinese market, with images of Cusco and San Martín, regions where the movie was filmed.
As part of the launch of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ - Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo) has released an ad hoc video for the Chinese market. The beautiful locations in the regions of Cusco and San Martín where the movie was filmed can be seen in it. Currently, this audiovisual material already has more than a million views, through WeChat, Weibo and Douyin networks.
Our wonder of the modern world, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, appears in the video in all its splendor. In addition, the Plaza de Armas of Cusco with the dances and parades that take place every year in the Inti Raymi, a celebration that was recreated for the film, can be seen.
The movie also shows Tarapoto, region of San Martín, with its abundant vegetation and great biodiversity. The locations of Alto Shilcayo, Shapaja and the Ahuashiyacu waterfalls, with 40 meters high and a pool 12 meters in diameter, stand out.
It should be noted that the latest part of Transformers premiered in China on June 9th. The film directed by Steven Caple Jr. has gathered, to date, 60 million US dollars at the Chinese box office. In this way, it became the second largest premiere for a Hollywood film in the Asian country.
