For filming activities within the Machupicchu National Archaeological Park, entry
tickets to the Inca citadel must be purchased at least three months in advance
through the official Peruvian Government website: https://tuboleto.cultura.pe/llaqta_machupicchu. Please also take into account the
conditions and recommendations established by the competent authorities.
It is also important to consider other requirements for access to the Inca citadel, such as train tickets to Machupicchu Pueblo and bus tickets for transportation up to the archaeological site.

Photography:
Unique locations! Peru showcased its full potential as a film destination during the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG). PROMPERÚ once again had a presence in the industry zone of this highly anticipated event, through Film in Peru, sharing a promotional reel with over 1000 audiovisual industry professionals attending the event from countries such as Spain, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the United States, among others.
It is important to note that through Film In Peru, information, guidance, and assistance are provided for filming in Peru. The main points of contact are the website: www.filminperu.com and the email: [email protected].
The goal is to show Peru's diverse locations in specialized spaces- using the slogan “Unexpected locations, where all stories are possible”- to promote the use of national locations to produce national and foreign cinematographic and audiovisual works.
During the recent edition of FICG, PROMPERÚ's Commercial Office in Mexico was present and held 10 meetings with film commission agents from Jalisco, Baja California, Costa Rica, Chile, Madrid, and Guadalajara, among others, to strengthen ongoing collaborations.
Additionally, during the festival, the Peruvian film “La Costurera,” produced by the Latin American audiovisual production company El Colchón Entertainment and winner of the National Fiction Feature Film Project Contest by the Ministry of Culture DAFO in 2022, received 4 awards in the Guadalajara Construye section.
