The Huascarán, with its 6,768 meters high, is the highest peak in all of Peru. The snow covered mountain is found in the beautiful National Park of the same name. It houses a total of 20 peaks that exceed 6,000 meters in altitude and extends over an area of ??3,400 km², which in its interior brings together 434 lagoons, 712 glaciers and 41 rivers.
